ENFILADE STUDY

This model was built as an exploration of the merits and drawbacks of sequentially linked volumes in architecture. It represents an effort to avoid some of the problems inherent in this kind of spatial organization. The “enfilade” is a series of sequentially linked volumes, and has been a commonly used tool of architectural planning for hundreds of years.
