This model was built in 2012 for the purpose of controlled demolition. The model was struck with a 5-lb concrete payload traveling at approximately 55 mph. The model exploded unilaterally. Lessons learned: E = M x V, and meteors will always win. Materials used: Rockite cement, acrylic plastic, dimensional basswood, white glue, acrylic solvent, spray adhesive, spray paint, acrylic paint, Plastruct figures.
